Behind the box
Apps ask for a login, a subscription, five more minutes of a screen you’re already tired of. So we made this instead: eighty verses, sorted by feeling, printed on cardstock you can hold. No account. No notifications. Open it when you need it, close it when you don’t.
Every word on every card is the Gita’s own. We chose which verse answers which feeling — nothing else.
Who we are
We both work full-time in corporate jobs — the kind with back-to-back calendars and inboxes that never really empty. EKAgita started on evenings and weekends, not as a business plan, but because we kept noticing the same thing: everyone around us was carrying something, and reaching for a phone wasn’t helping.
We didn’t build this because a market study told us to. We built it because we needed it ourselves, and couldn’t find it anywhere else. That’s still the only reason we’re doing this.
